More than just off road driving days
Our wonderful venues across the Mendips allow us to provide a quiver full of options for the perfect activity weekend.
At our Churchill location, situated within the grounds of Lyncombe Lodge and the High Action Centre we can provide an adventurous setting for every member of your family. The range of activities we offer, plus the location near to the cities of Bristol and Bath, makes this an ideal site for an action packed weekend.
Increasing numbers of families are joining us on Saturday morning and combining off road activities for mum and dad whilst the children learn to ski or are trained in archery or abseiling. Dinner followed by an overnight stay provides a civilised end to an exciting day. The following day could be spent on new activities or honing your new skills. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the cultural attractions of Bath and Bristol as both cities are less than 15 miles away or just enjoy the surrounding countryside. Walking and Biking
A number of footpaths lead from the hotel across the Mendips, in many cases leading to some outstanding local pubs such as The Crown in Churchill. For mountain bikers the local area offers a wide variety of routes through both grassland and woodland tracks.
